Esthetician Course

The main objective of this course is to prepare students to provide skin care services to clients, as well as keep them informed about the theories and its basic principles, through the use of academic learning and practical experience. Students receive education in the structure and functions of skin, bones, hair removal, sanitation, disinfection, sterilization, retail, electricity, product knowledge and chemistry, professional ethics, and business within the industry. The minimum course length, as mandated by the state of Texas, is 750 hours.

Course Objective Upon successful completion of the course, the student will have acquired technical skills, academic theories, and business skills in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Skills and theories are presented progressively. This academic preparation allows each student to achieve the highest degree of technical and theoretical capacity, as well as the security measures and professional procedures necessary to obtain a job. We prepare our students so that future employers do not do so.
